‘Sharing and Learning Remembrance- European memory culture(s) in the 21st century’ 6-10.V.2011, Potsdam, Germany.

CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS of the conference “Sharing and Learning Remembrance- European memory culture(s) in the 21st century“, that will be held from 6th of May until 10th of May in Potsdam/ Germany.

Travel costs, accommodation and food supply will be fully covered. NGO ‘United Societies of Balkans’ has 2 places for its representants.

The event is organised by Mostar Friedensprojekt, and supported by the Europe for Citizens Program of the EC. Participants will be around 75 guests from different countries, exchanging their experiences, discussing points of views, regarding historical occurrences and building up new contacts and networks.

The main aim is to discuss on fascism and its remembrance in the province and the rural areas. The working group will be given space for deeper discussions on following topics:

“Undiscovered places of remembrance in province”

“Innovation through new media”

“Generation 21: curricular and extracurricular education and youth work”

2 Persons that will declare their interest and decide about going for that workshop will need to prepare a short article on the subject and afterwards to write a report from the seminar.
